Who is eligible?
All continuing or new degree program students planning to attend full-time (12 units undergrad, 8 units grad) for the 2019/2020 academic year with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. New incoming students must have applied to SSU for admission before they can apply for scholarships.
What is needed to apply?
Step 1 - Carefully read through the application requirements listed. In the application, you will be asked to do the following:
1. Answer all the questions on the brief questionnaire.
2. Upload a two page essay (guidelines and tips are provided at the link above).
*NEW* no letters of recommendation are required this year
Step 2 – Click “Click here to begin your 2019/20 University Application” at the bottom of the page. Log in using your My SSU username and password, and begin the application.
You can complete your application over time by clicking “Save and Keep Editing," but the application is not complete and will not be reviewed until you have clicked “Finish and Submit” at the bottom of the application. Deadline to apply is Feb. 1.
