I am saddened to announce that a student who was reported missing last night was found deceased today near The Lakes on campus.
The death of any Sonoma State community member is a tragedy and a sadness. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nikolai Grayson’s family.
This is an ongoing investigation. We are not able to provide additional information at this time.
We have learned that there may have been members of the community walking with their dogs through the area of The Lakes last night. Anyone who was in the area is strongly encouraged to contact the Sonoma State University Police Department at 707-664-4444.
