What do I do if there is an earthquake or fire? Do I have to throw everything in my refrigerator away if we have a power outage? What should I pack in a go bag in case we get evacuated? Why is the water yellow in some of the toilets? What does shelter in place mean and why would the university tell us to do it? How can I stop a friend from making a really bad decision at this party? Where do I go to report bias or sexual assault?
As you make this transition to SSU for the first year, or even as a returning Seawolf, you know that there are times where you will be faced with some challenges and decisions on how best to take care of yourself. Sonoma County is beautiful, but we also want to make sure you are prepared for some of the challenges and decisions you might be faced with while living here. Join us as campus, local, and county resources gather to share information and education about fires, power outages, smoke, earthquakes, and more.
