Alumni Services

Alumni of Sonoma State University have access to Career Services, except for Career Advising Drop-ins and Appointments. There is no fee to utilize these services. A Sonoma State alumni is a degree recipient from Sonoma State. Please note that Extended Education credits do not qualify for eligibility. Below is a list of available services:

Self-Directed Career Plan: The Self Directed Career Plan is based on the Six Steps to Career Planning and includes self assessment worksheets and activities to help you clarify your values, interests, and skills.

Career Resource Library: Career-related books, journals, and magazines are available in the Career Library. Computers are available for alumni to search the Internet, write a resume, or post a resume on-line, with Peer Advisors available to answer questions.

Computerized Career Exploration: EUREKA, is a highly interactive career planning and exploration computer programs are available for alumni use in Salazar 1070. Computers are also available with resume writing templates.

Job Search Tools: Information and handouts to assist you with the job search process including resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and networking techniques, and tips on understanding other career related situations.
