CSU Cross Campus Collaboration
Registration is now open for all fall semester CSU Cross Campus Collaboration workshops! Join colleagues from other CSU campuses to access exclusive instructor-led professional development workshops held live via zoom. Log on to the Cross Campus Collaboration (CCC) CSYou website for the full schedule as well as workshop and registration information. Conquering Time
Thursday, September 20th at 2pm
When asked how we manage our time, many of us may reply, “Not Well.” We know that we could be managing out more effectively, but it can be difficult to identify the mistakes that we are making and to know how we can improve. Content includes:

  • Accessing our personal energy cycle
  • Prioritizing our to-do lists
  • Managing common time wasters
  • Creating New habits

Problem Solving
Wednesday, November 6th at 10am
Identifying what type of thinker you (and those around you) are can lead to quicker problem solving. Content Includes:

  • How do you deal with problems?
  • Systematic vs intuitive thinkers
  • Steps in Problem Solving
  • How to develop possible solutions

Facilitated by Jessica Coats. Jessica studied Psychology at California State, San Marcos and received her Master's from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She has twenty years of educational and professional experience. Her work experience consists of community-based agencies that deliver highly intensive mental health and family support in homes, schools and communities.

CSU Learn Highlights
Google Slides Bundle
Hone your Google Slides skills with this bundle of courses in CSU Learn! Begin by taking an assessment to identify areas of improvement, or select your expertise level to learn everything from the basics of getting started to utilizing charts, graphs, and images. 

Taking Effective and Professional Notes
Skilled note taking can make you more productive in business situations. Writing notes and engaging in written communication also provides an effective record to review when necessary. In this course, you'll learn tools, techniques, and grammar strategies for effective note taking in interviews and meetings. You'll also learn ways to write notes that help you learn and recall information, to make it easier to communicate to others. (19 minutes)

Student Employee Customer Service Skills
Student employees have access to CSU Learn as well! This bundle of courses focuses on helping student employees develop outstanding customer service skills in the areas of effective communication, excellence service, and addressing the varying needs of customers.
