On the morning of January 22, 2024, the Sonoma State University Police Department initiated an investigation into an aggravated assault that occurred on Sequoia Way at E. Cotati Avenue, during the CFA strike. Yesterday, the suspect in this investigation voluntarily turned himself into the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department for booking on felony charges. The suspect was not affiliated with the campus community.
