Campus Community,

During the past 24 hours, the campus experienced two power outages due to PG&E equipment disruptions feeding the campus and surrounding communities.

Unfortunately, these outages greatly impacted campus operations. Although emergency generators came on to provide emergency power to various areas, many parts of the campus, including the on-campus residential communities, lost power for several hours. Now, power is restored, and we believe PG&E has rectified the issue.

Campus protocols are in place and were activated during the outage. For the most up-to-date information about power outages, please check the PG&E Outage Center

Residents: Generally, residents are not required to leave campus during a campus power outage. In the event of a power outage, REACH will provide additional guidance.

Food Services: The Student Center has power, and food service has remained available.

Please report any service disruptions in your area, such as tripped breakers, to Facilities Management at SSU Fixit | Facilities Management at Sonoma State University.
