ONE DAY. ONE SONOMA STATE.
Sonoma State University Giving Day April 6, 2023
Tomorrow, April 6, is Sonoma State University’s third annual Giving Day. For 24 hours, our entire community will come together to transform the future of Sonoma State. Alumni, donors, parents, faculty, staff, students, and community members may participate in the celebration festivities by donating and/or sharing with others what they love about Sonoma State.

This year, more than 100 campus causes have signed up to participate in Giving Day, to support their work. Student clubs and organizations, schools and academic departments, and programs are participating in an effort to raise funds to support each program and cause. With so many participating groups fundraising on Giving Day, there are many opportunities to find something you are passionate about supporting. To check out a full list of who’s participating in this year’s Giving Day, visit givingday.sonoma.edu.

On April 6, there are three ways you can show your support for Sonoma State:

  • Stop by Seawolf Plaza anytime between 9 a.m. -3 p.m. to join in the festivities — there will be music, activities, food, giveaways, and more!
  • Spread the word about Giving Day to your network on your social media accounts. Check out the social media toolkit on our Giving Day website to see how you can get involved and to tell others how you are #AllForSonomaState.
  • Make a gift - all donations directly impact the areas that mean the most to you. Success isn’t just measured in the dollars raised – it’s also the number of us who participate. You can easily make a tax deductible donation directly through our Giving Day website or, if interested, employees can also sign up for payroll deduction.

Stop by and check out what all the fun is about! If you have any questions, please contact University Advancement at givingday@sonoma.edu.
