TO: Sonoma State Campus Community
FR: Julie Vivas, Title IX Officer and Sr. Director for the Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination
As a follow-up to Dr. Lee's message on Monday, we want to remind all of campus that you are invited to participate in the system wide assessment that is being performed by Cozen O'Connor to help us improve the CSU's Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation (DHR) training, awareness, prevention, intervention, compliance and support systems.
As Cozen has requested to limit the size of the rooms to make any interactions meaningful for attendees and the consultants, we have added a second open meeting time to the schedule on Friday. Please join Cozen at one of the meetings:
Noon to 1 pm - Alexander ValleyRoom, Student Center
2 pm to 3 pm - Wine Spectator Learning Center Boardroom (1021, entrance in the rear of the building)
If you are unable to attend an in person meeting, we encourage you to use this link [https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Sonoma_State] to participate in the CSU’s Title IX Assessment survey, which will remain open through February 15, 2023. You may also send your confidential comments to the dedicated email address established for the assessment: CalStateReview@cozen.com.
We need and value your candid input. We understand that topics relating to sexual harassment and assault may impact someone who has experienced these behaviors. Participation is completely voluntary, and confidential responses will go directly and exclusively to Cozen. If you need additional support, information about resources, or would like to provide feedback related to specific cases, please contact me at ophd@sonoma.edu or 707-664-2480.
Up-to-date information including next steps can be found on the CSU Title IX Assessment website. Thank you in advance for helping to ensure Sonoma State University is a safe and inclusive place where all of us can thrive.
