On behalf of COVID Monitoring Team, Kendall Newman, Operations Manager for Risk Management and Safety Services, notifies the campus community of a positive case of COVID-19 on campus. The exposure occurred in the PE Building and Fieldhouse between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m on August 3, 2021.
Jeff Banks (Senior Associate Vice President for University Personnel) and Missy Brunetta (Director for Emergency Services and Associate Risk Manager, COVID Monitoring and Compliance Lead) invite all employees to join the “Return to Campus Update Forums” for faculty, staff, and administrators, on Tuesday, August 10, and Wednesday, August 11.

However, air quality in the area is poor due to the smoke conditions from the fires in Northern California. We are monitoring air quality conditions, which are deteriorating around campus.
Sonoma State University's Facilities Management department informs the campus community about planned eucalyptus tree removal taking place between August 10 - 24, with the hours of work being Monday - Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Gregory Sawyer (Vice President for Student Affairs), inform the campus community of the California State University's announcement that students, faculty, and staff accessing Cal State facilities at any university location will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for the fall term.
