FR: Kendall Newman, Operations Manager for Risk Management and Safety Services on behalf of the COVID Monitoring and Compliance Team
Sonoma State University’s on-campus COVID-19 testing center is open to all students, staff and faculty, and their families or household members. As demand for PCR testing has diminished, we are no longer able to facilitate testing center operations three days a week.
This week, the testing center will be open:
- Tuesday, August 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Thursday, September 1 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Next week, the testing center will be open:
- ONLY Thursday, September 8 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Beginning Monday, September 12 continuing through Friday, December 16, the COVID-19 testing center will be open the following dates and times:
- Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m.
The COVID-19 testing center is located in the Denali Gym at the Recreation Center. The testing center does not take appointments and will serve people on a first-come, first-served basis. However, pre-registration is required. Please register your account through the link on SSU’s COVID Monitoring and Compliance Office and select “No Appointment” from the drop-down list of testing sites. Masks are required when in the testing center.
PCR testing continues to be required to return to campus if an employee or student is experiencing symptoms. If you are in need of a PCR test, please contact your personal physician or visit a community testing site. The County of Sonoma has a list of testing sites here: https://socoemergency.org/emergency/novel-coronavirus/testing-and-tracing/
