TO: All employees
FR: Jeff Banks, Senior Associate Vice President for University Personnel

As previously announced by President Sakaki, Sonoma State University is doing its part to help curtail the spread of COVID-19 infections in Sonoma County by making the decision to temporarily conduct much of our instruction virtually through February 11, 2022. Staff may temporarily revert to Fall 2021 telecommuting arrangements where it is operationally feasible and while ensuring services are available to students who are living on campus and to students and faculty taking part in limited in-person coursework.

We encourage anyone needing to telecommute due to COVID-related reasons to speak with their appropriate administrator. Administrators who need to refer to the Fall 2021 telecommuting agreements under the Fall Repopulation Plan may do so by contacting University Personnel at telecommute@sonoma.edu. Please visit the Telecommuting Program webpage for additional information.

Thank you for your steadfast efforts to adhere to public health and COVID-19 safety protocols. The combined efforts of our campus community is why our campus has continued to be a very safe working and learning environment.
