Dear Campus Community,
As part of Sonoma State University’s commitment to being an inclusive environment for our students and employees, all employees are required to complete systemwide trainings related to Discrimination and Harassment Prevention, and for Gender Equity and Title IX. Sonoma State has been under particular scrutiny in this arena, and we have an additional responsibility to be above reproach.
We recognize that these online trainings are time consuming, but they are important and they are mandatory. The reason for completing these modules is to help increase our understanding of how harrassment and discrimination can happen in the workplace so that we can prevent such behavior from occurring. This is a critical goal for Sonoma State and must be prioritized as we commit ourselves to a discrimination and harrassment-free campus. So we ask that you complete these trainings before they are due, if you have deadlines that are approaching. If you have overdue training modules, please prioritize completing them before the end of the academic semester.
To find out if you need to complete trainings, click on the purple tile labeled “CSU Learn” when you login to your SSU Portal. On the CSU Learn webpage, click on “Assigned Learning” to view the modules you need to complete.
We appreciate your efforts at making Sonoma State University a wonderful learning and working environment.
