Vandalism Investigation UPDATE - Beaujolais Village (Case #21-14)

On February 17, 2021, an email was sent to the Sonoma State community seeking assistance with identifying the person(s) responsible for a series of vandalisms in Beaujolais Village. Based on the information received, we successfully identified the people responsible for damaging exit signs and filling a fountain with soap. The estimated cost for this vandalism is $7500.
 
The investigation of these incidents revealed that these individuals also set off a fire extinguisher, stole university signage, and were in possession of stolen property and false identification cards.
 
The investigation is now concluded and charges have been filed against the individuals responsible. We are appreciative of the community’s assistance in this investigation.  
 
Anyone who has seen suspicious activity or has information regarding these incidents is encouraged to call the Sonoma State University Police Dispatch Center at (707) 664-4444 to speak with an officer.
