TO: Campus Community
FR: Missy Brunetta, Director for Emergency Services and Associate Risk Manager
Beginning on Wednesday, August 18, a COVID-19 testing clinic at Sonoma State University will be open to all students and employees. The testing clinic will serve an integral role in the implementation of the CSU COVID-19 vaccination requirement policy by ensuring routine COVID-19 testing for students who are not yet fully vaccinated or who have been approved for an exemption to the requirement.
The testing clinic will be located in the Denali Gym at the Recreation Center. Access will be permitted through the south exterior doors of the facility that lead directly to the Denali Gym.
The testing clinic will operate three days a week during the first week
- Wednesday, August 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, August 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, August 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Future dates and times will be planned to best support our Seawolf community's scheduling needs and will be announced once they are confirmed.
Students who have not yet been fully vaccinated, including those who have approved exemptions, will be required to complete weekly testing. Vaccinated students may use the clinic as needed. Employees may also use the clinic as needed. Insurance companies or federal COVID-19 assistance programs for uninsured individuals will be billed directly.
Sonoma State has contracted with Avellino Precision Medicine to administer the COVID testing clinic. The Student Health Center will receive test results for students. The COVID Monitoring Team will receive employee test results.
Appointments are not required this week, but pre-registration is required. Use this link to access the registration page: https://avellinocov2.com/patient/register. You will need your student or employee ID number to access this service.
