As you may be aware, there is a wildfire burning in the north Petaluma/Penngrove area. There is currently no threat to campus. The campus is experiencing smoke conditions, but air quality (AQI) remains at healthy levels. Current wind conditions may result in there being smoke from this wildfire visible on or near campus.
The Sonoma State Police Department and the SSU Office of Emergency Services continue to monitor and support response to this event and will update campus, if needed. Visit the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office for updates related to this fire.
