The Office of Emergency Services and Information Technology will conduct a test of our campus emergency notification system today, August 12, at 6 p.m. This test is part of our continued efforts to ensure all safety programs and protocols are ready, efficient, and flexible should an emergency occur.
During the test exercise, a voice telephone call will be sent to a small group of individuals who have SSU business phone numbers registered in PeopleSoft (MyHR or MySSU). Those individuals will receive the voice call on their business phone and their mobile phone. Text messages and emails will not be sent during this test. No further action is needed from employees at this time. We ask that you please not update your contact information in MySSU or MyHR until after the test has concluded.
