As Sonoma State University moves forward with planning for the 2025-26 academic year, we want to be prepared should additional funding become available.
To solicit ideas from the campus community, the University Budget Advisory Committee (UBAC) is announcing a Call for Proposals for consideration. Eligible proposals will be reviewed by UBAC members, with the addition of an administrator from Athletics, and UBAC will provide a recommendation to me.
As a campus committed to stewardship of place and the liberal arts and sciences, successful proposals will focus on the following Guiding Principles:
- Student Success
- Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
- Innovative and Sustainable Future
- Engagement with our North Bay Community
To be eligible for review, proposals must be submitted by a current Sonoma State student, faculty member, or staff member; signed off by a Vice President; and related to one or more of the following:
- A new or existing academic program
- A new or existing co-curricular program
- An existing campus unit or department
Proposals may be submitted using this Qualtrics link. The deadline for submission is Friday, March 28, 2025.
