The General Services team is excited to announce the refresh of the campus copier fleet! As part of the renewal of the Ricoh contract, the team is seizing the opportunity to adopt newer technology, reassess usage patterns, adjust usage minimums, and lease fewer machines. These changes will provide both an overall cost savings and improved user experience to the campus.
In the coming weeks, the General Services team will reach out to the relevant administrative staff with the scheduled dates and preparation instructions for installing the new Ricoh copiers/printers. This communication will include detailed instructions and any additional information needed.
The team continues to work closely with Ricoh and the SSU IT team to ensure the transition goes smoothly and to keep any potential downtime to a minimum. The goal is to make this process as seamless as possible, and there should be minimal disruption to individuals across campus.
