Effective June 30, 2024, the payroll deduction parking permit rate for employees will increase. Represented employees will increase in line with the 23/24 Collective Bargaining Agreements. Admin I, II, III, IV, E99s, and Unit 11 will increase in line with all parking rate increases.
New Payroll Deduction Rates for General and Employee Housing Permits:
Units 1, 4, 6, 8, Confidentials (C99s) will increase by 5% to $15.81 per month.
Units 2, 5, 7, 9 will increase by $2 to $17.06 per month.
Unit 3 will increase 5% to $13.85 per month for 12-month permits and $11.54 per month for Academic Year permits.
Admin I, II, III, IV, E99s, and Unit 11 will increase by 5% to $31.50 per month.
New Payroll Deduction Rates for Reserved Permits (all employees):
12-month permits will increase by 5% to $59 per month.
Academic Year permits will increase by 5% to $46 per month.
This rate increase will meet the short and long-term needs of the campus and, at the same time, will help build parking reserves to enable maintenance and repairs in our existing lots.
Transportation & Parking Services encourages students, faculty, and staff to consider saving money on parking by walking, bicycling, or taking mass transit. Here are some links for more information on alternate modes of transportation, including Public Transit, SMART Transit, and Zipcar. These current passes will expire on June 30. Instructions for renewal are in a separate email.
