The excitement is building for Sonoma State’s 2024 Giving Day, taking place tomorrow, April 4. For a full 24 hours, our entire community will come together to transform the future of Sonoma State. Giving Day impacts causes including student scholarships, enhancing research opportunities, student life initiatives, academic programs, athletics, and so much more. With over 120 causes participating in Giving Day, you can support what you love at SSU.
Celebrate Giving Day
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are invited to celebrate the Giving Day spirit on April 4, as we rally together to shape the future of SSU. Giving Day is a celebration of community, compassion, and the power of collective action. We have an array of events taking place throughout the day and all are encouraged to attend including:
Party in the Plaza
Please note: All activities in Seawolf Plaza have been moved to the Rec Center Mt. Denali Multi-Activity Court due to expected rain on April 4.
Sweet Treats & Sips│8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
Start your day off with complimentary donuts, coffee, and tea.
Pizza Palooza, Play for a Purpose and so much more!│12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
We’ll have personal pizzas from Mountain Mike’s, Swirl Time frozen yogurt, games, and opportunities for everyone to win prizes. Join us for some fun.
Cheers for Change│ 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Lobo’s
Raise a glass and celebrate the impact of Giving Day with SSU and our community. Complimentary appetizers will be served as well as Giving Day specialty beverages.
