In collaboration with the Chancellor’s Office, Sonoma State University will be migrating MySSU and MyHR to a more secure environment on Friday, March 22. During the migration period, both systems will be down and inaccessible to users. The overall impact to users is anticipated to be minimal, but faculty, staff and students should plan accordingly, to avoid needing to access the systems during these hours. The downtime is expected to begin at 7 p.m. Friday, March 22 and conclude by 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23.
Frequently accessed systems and services that may experience disruption during the migration period include:
- Class Registration
- Transcripts
- Reporting Absences
- Timesheets
The transition of these services is an investment to heighten the security protections for Sonoma State University’s student, faculty, and administration records and data. The investment reflects the university's recognition of heightened security threats and its commitment to continually working to safeguard important data against any possible intrusion.
Any questions or concerns regarding the migration can be directed to Jaime Russell at jaime.russell@sonoma.edu.
