As we were choosing a unifying theme for this program, a feeling that came up for us was the gratitude that we all had for this space and the ability to practice and perform music with wonderful colleagues. It is a joy to sing for an audience, and a joy to be together. This concert represents a collection of some of our favorite classical and operatic composers and pieces to perform. Selections include works by Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Price, Faure, Puccini, Meyerbeer, Massenet, and more. We hope that you can join us on February 23rd, 2023 for a joyful celebration of art song and aria.
Christa Durand, Soprano
A Sonoma State alumna, Ms. Durand is passionate about music education and making it accessible to everyone. She owns Music to My Ears in Cotati, a community music center offering private music lessons, groups classes, and musical productions.
Krista Wigle, Soprano
Ms. Wigle holds a Bachelor of Music Degree and Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Known for her vocal versatility, and her character/comedic work, Ms. Wigle's extensive performance career ranges from Opera to Musical Theater.
