Today’s heavy rains have led to flooding, evacuations, and disruptions to internet access and power in some areas. We hope you are safe and well during this rain storm.
There are no plans to change the class schedule for tomorrow. Classes will continue in person and online as scheduled. It will, however, be important to be flexible and supportive.
Students, if you are having trouble coming to campus, are unable to access the internet, or do not have electrical power for online learning, please let your faculty know as soon as you are able so they can make reasonable accommodations for class attendance and the completion of assignments.
Faculty, please help students by allowing them to make up work and be flexible about attendance if they are experiencing disruptions due to the heavy rains. If you yourselves are experiencing disruptions, please let your department chair or Dean know as soon as possible and pivot, if necessary, to online teaching and learning during the first part of the week.
Staff and managers, if you are unable to come to campus or to work remotely as scheduled, please notify your appropriate administrator as soon as possible. Changes to work location should be approved by your appropriate administrator.
Seawolves, we have made it through lots of disruptions, and this is one more. Thank you for being a caring, compassionate community! Be careful and stay safe.
