President's Diversity Council

The President's Diversity Council is responsible for oversight and coordination of all diversity initiatives of the University, and is advisory to the president. In addition, the Council is charged with promoting diversity in three major areas:

Outreach, recruitment, and retention of diverse students, faculty, and staff
Diversity in the curriculum
Promotion of civility and multicultural competence in the campus community

President's Sustainability Advisory Council

The President's Sustainability Advisory Committee advises the President, via the Provost and the Vice President of Administration and Finance, on sustainability and resilience at Sonoma State University. The PSAC coordinates the work of the three pillars of the Climate Commitment signed in spring 2019 by SSU President Judy K. Sakaki.
