Eric is in his third year at Sonoma State, but this is his first year at the Writing Center. Applying as a Political Science major, he quickly realized that the public life was not for him and accordingly dropped that major. Discovering a passion for teaching while working at summer camp, Eric now excels in SSU’s English Single Subject undergraduate program. When he’s not lurking in the dungeons of Nichols Hall, he can be found roaming the hills of Sonoma County, biking on the streets of Rohnert Park, or discovering the unknown artists at Northlight Open Mics. Other interests include fine art, food, and music (especially George Michael: ask about “Careless Whisper”). While he passionately loves his home state of California, Eric dreams of exploring the rest of the world and learning about all kinds of people, possibly as an international journalist.
