18th Annual Faculty Research Exposition Set for April 2
Abstracts due March 12 for Presenters
A call for presentations for the 18th annual Faculty Research Exposition is being made among SSU academics. Abstracts (100 words or fewer) of projects are due to Carol Hall by Wednesday, March 12.
Those already confirmed are Drs. Suzanne Rivoire, Karin Enstam Jaffe, Jennifer Shaw, Alexis Boutin, Deborah Hammond, and Lynn Cominsky (NASA display).
The exposition takes place on Wednesday, April 2 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in Ballroom B&C, Student Center. All faculty and staff are invited to attend, and participants may also invite colleagues from outside the University.
This event is an opportunity for all faculty, especially recent grant recipients, to share the results of their research and scholarly pursuits with colleagues from all disciplines.
After a brief welcome from the chair of the Faculty Subcommittee on Sponsored Programs and from university and faculty leadership, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the displays and talk with exhibitors about their work. Wine and refreshments will be served throughout the event.
Guidelines for exhibitors:
- One poster per faculty member (3-panel corrugated project board preferred)
- Use key words and outlines rather than text-filled pages
- Use illustrations or models as appropriate
- Provide an abstract (100 words or fewer) of projects to Carol Hall by Wednesday, March 12
