How to Reserve Space in the New Student Center

Campus departments may submit requests for Student Center spaces beginning, but not before, Dec. 16, for Spring 2014. Please visit the campus calendar to check availability prior to submitting a request. In the future, departmental requests for upcoming semesters will be accepted close to the end of the preceding semester.

The Student Center will be home to many bookable spaces for student, faculty, staff, and off-campus community members. With event space for more than 1,000, the Student Center will greatly increase the ability to host an array of events.

These include:

    Ballroom Spaces
  • Spanning nearly 12,000 square feet, the Grand Ballroom will be the largest of its kind in Sonoma County and can accommodate more than 1200 attendees.
  • The ballroom will also have the ability to be separated into four smaller rooms, providing three individual spaces for up to 130 and a fourth for up to 600. A large pre-function area is created as part of this configuration.
  • Meeting Space
  • The second floor will house another six meeting spaces. These “valley” meeting rooms, named after Sonoma County valleys, provide another 4,000 square feet of space for smaller meetings and gatherings.
  • They will feature data projectors, live internet jacks, wireless connectivity, DVD players and more.
