Teacher Technology Showcase December 5
Join the School of Education's 3rd annual Teacher Technology Showcase on Dec. 5 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Cooperage at Sonoma State. The Showcase is fast becoming the premiere educational technology event in the North Bay, says Pamela Van Halsema.
Last year, 150 people attended and 26 presented from both pre- and in-service educators. This year, 250 local educators, administrators, and community members are expected to see 40 presentations from pre- and in-service teachers and administrators.
With a focus on student learning, this year's will be packed with presentations, a hands-on Maker Space, and a Technology Sandbox to try out the latest tech tools for the classroom. There will also be food and giveaways throughout the evening. The School of Education is partnering with Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) and KQED for this year's event.
The Showcase is free to attend and open to the public. For more information see www.sonoma.edu/education/techshowcase/index.html.
