Deadline for Proposals for Faculty Research Expo is March 6
The 2012 Faculty Research Exposition takes place on Wednesday, March 27 from 4 - 5:30p.m. in The Commons. All faculty and staff are invited to attend and participants may also invite colleagues from outside the University.
Proposal abstracts (100 words or less) for projects to be presented at the event are due to Carol Hall by Wednesday, March 6.
This event is an opportunity for all faculty, especially recent grant recipients, to share the results of their research and scholarly pursuits with colleagues from all disciplines.
After a brief welcome from the Chair of the Faculty Subcommittee on Sponsored Programs and from University and faculty leadership, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the displays and talk with exhibitors about their work. Wine and refreshments will be served throughout the event.
Guidelines for exhibitors:
· One poster per faculty member (3-panel corrugated project board preferred)
· Use key words and outlines rather than printed pages
· Use illustrations or models as appropriate
To reserve a space, call Carol Hall today at 4-2448, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
