Testing of Emergency Notification System Today

Wednesday, June 9, 2021, 2:45pm

TO: Campus Community
FR: Missy Brunetta, Director for Emergency Services and Associate Risk Manager

As part of an emergency preparation exercise, we are conducting a test of our emergency notification system today, June 9.

Testing of our emergency notification system is conducted periodically. During this test exercise, a notification will be sent to the contact information provided in your MySSU or MyHR accounts. A text message to subscribed mobile phones and email to University email addresses are ways the test may appear on your devices.

If you believe you are subscribed to any of these systems but DID NOT receive a message, please email emergency@sonoma.edu. You can verify or update your contact information in MySSU. This information is added automatically to our emergency notification system for all faculty, staff, and students in our campus community.

In lieu of including your mobile phone number in MySSU or MyHR, you may opt into the SSU emergency notification system by texting SSUALERTS to 67283.
