Get Involved!

Greek Life

What do all sororities and fraternities have in common? All chapters at Sonoma State (and inter/nationally) share the common values of academic achievement, diversity, community service, friendship and provide a plethora of leadership opportunities for members. There are 13 Greek organizations on campus with a combined total membership of approximately 500 SSU students. Visit our website to learn more about the fraternities and sororities on campus and how to join.

Clubs and Organizations

With over one hundred chartered student organizations, joining a club is an excellent way to get involved and gain leadership experience. Additionally serving as a club officer allows you to take your leadership skills to the next level. As a member or officer of a club, you'll learn about organizational issues such as membership recruitment, fundraising, running effective meetings, managing conflicts, and program planning. You can get more information about clubs and organizations by coming into the Center for Student Leadership, Involvement and Service, 1st floor Student Union.

Associated Students

For Sonoma State Seawolves, leadership means getting involved! Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) offers three great ways to make the most of your college experience. Through participation in Student Government as a senator or executive officer, you have the chance to empower yourself and express the voice of the student body.

Join Us Making Progress (JUMP)

As a member of Join Us Making Progress (JUMP), you can make a difference on campus and in the local community through volunteering and service projects. Don't just be a volunteer - apply to be a JUMP Team Leader. JUMP Team Leaders organize and coordinate service events, recruit and manage volunteers, and develop partnerships with the community. This is your chance to get involved, take a leadership role, involve your fellow students, and do good. Contact JUMP@sonoma.edu

Associated Students Productions (ASP)

Participate in bringing the best in regional and national comedy, lecture, and musical talent to SSU through Associated Students Productions (ASP). Students gain hands-on programming and event planning experience by serving as a volunteer or programmer for ASP. So don't wait! Get involved and make your impact on campus!
