About the Department
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures offers major and minor programs in French and Spanish, and a minor program in German. Students interested in German may also want to consider a B.A. in Global Studies with a concentration on Europe. Modern language courses are taught in the target language; functional control of all language skills (reading, writing, listening comprehension, and speaking) is a primary goal.
Information about the programs is available at the department office, Stevenson 3016, or by clicking on the French, German, or Spanish Program tabs above.
