Welcome to Learning Skills Services (LSS) at Sonoma State University. LSS is a federally funded, TRIO Student Support Service project which provides comprehensive academic support for TRIO-eligible SSU students.

The LSS missiona statement is:

"Learning Skills Services seeks to enhance the goals of Sonoma State University by providing and facilitating an array of comprehensive academic and personal support services within a developmental framework that addresses the specific academic and personal needs of low income, first generation, and/or disabled students such that the retention and graduation rates of these students is significantly increased.”

To be an LSS Participant you must:

1. be a first-generation college student and/or,
2. meet federal low-income guidelines and/or,
3. be a student with a physical or learning disability.
