Wireless network access is now available in Beaujolais Village, and will be available in Sauvignon and Verdot Villages in January 2009. Cabernet and Zinfandel will have wireless installed in Summer 2009. To sign on to the wireless network, you will need your Seawolf (aka ldap) username and password.
For instructions on how to logon to wireless in the residence halls, please go to Logon Instructions. Tips for Wireless Computing lists the cards recommended for use on SSU's wireless network along with configuration settings and location management advice.
Feature enhancements to the wireless network will be announced throughout the semester, so please subscribe to IT News to get the latest announcements. We hope the wired and wireless network connectivity help to enhance your educational experience as one of the valued members of our Residential Community.
