Robin Marshall
Director, Workstation Security and Services
As Director of WSS, Robin manages and directs the activities of the IT Helpdesk and Geoteam, as well as the computer repair shop. He focuses on maintaining high quality desktop computer support to the entire campus community. Additionally, it is Robin's responsibility to work with the other IT directors and the campus community to develop and maintain a quality computing environment with the necessary support and resources to achieve the educational and business goals of the university.
Scott Lance
GeoTeam Consultant
Scott assists the students and staff members of Sonoma State University with a wide range of computer related problems and account creation. Scott also monitors the workflow that is generated by incoming phone traffic. The Helpdesk Coordinator is responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of student assistants that the Helpdesk.
Carol Baker
Shop & GeoTeam Coordinator
As the GeoTeam and Shop Coordinator, Carol is responsible for the day to day work flow in the shop and GeoTeam. She is also responsible for inventory and maintenance of GeoTeam hardware and software.
Michael Hazen
GeoTeam Consultant
In his eighth year at Sonoma State University, Michael is a member of the GeoTeam, having come to us from Apple Computer. In addition to breaking his Diet Pepsi/Diet Coke addiction, Michael is a playwright and poet.
Ken Baker
GeoTeam Consultant
Ken provides computer consulting support through the Geoteam, as well as computer support to those parts of the campus community that do not receive Geoteam support. Ken is also responsible for the remote management and configuration of networked printers across campus.
Doug Schiller
GeoTeam Consultant
Doug is a GeoTeam Consultant with over seven years of experience. He has a balance of skill with Apple and Microsoft based systems. Doug is proficient in a multitude of software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suites, Macromedia products, and McAfee security products.
Moe Calvez
GeoTeam Consultant
Moe hails from Canada where he worked for several years in desktop support, network and security administration and server maintenance. As well as providing desktop support for GeoTeam users and beyond, Moe also helps with the creation of domain and Meetingmaker accounts and updating our Ghost workstation images.
Vaughn Bellwood
GeoTeam Consultant
Vaughn has been working with PCs in a technical capacity for over twenty years, with nearly eight years of professional experience as a PC consultant. In March 2007, Vaughn joined Sonoma State’s IT Desktop Support team. When he’s not providing support to Geo Team or Help Desk users, he works on technical projects and handles software administration for some of the products managed by WSS.
Mike Nelson
GeoTeam Consultant
As a former student here, Mike knows the campus very well and has formed relationships with much of the campus community. Mike has worked with computers since the early 1990s and worked at the Help Desk before making a transition to a staff position. Mike has been primarily a PC person and is beginning to make the move toward better understanding and support of Apple computers.
Rosie Schramm
GeoTeam Consultant
Kia ora ("be well/healthy") from the land of the White Cloud. As part of the Geo Team I assist in resolving the day to day computer related problems occurring around the campus for Staff, Faculty and students. I also take an active part in student supervision at the IT Helpdesk and riding my bike for a healthier life style.
