Your SSU Email Account
Check your SSU Email everyday!
All current SSU students have a Sonoma State email address provided to them by Sonoma State. The University communicates with you primarily, and for some purposes only through your SSU student email account. Check your email regularly for registration, financial aid, library and course communications. See the Provost's Memo Re: Email Communication Initiative.
Getting Your Username & Password
You will use your SSU Seawolf ID and password to access your email. Once you are enrolled, you should be able to obtain your userid and set a password via the Online Services PINmaster. Your Seawolf ID is the key to accessing many services at SSU, so keep it safe and don't share it with others.
Email Quotas
Your email account has a 250 MB disk quota. Be sure to periodically save important messages to your computer's hard drive and delete messages you no longer need. If you go overquota, you may not receive important messages.

Other Email Services
SSU email includes spam and virus filtering, and does not require advertisement-loaded interfaces. However, no automated system can completely protect your computer security and privacy, so we recommend you follow these Safe Email Practices and avoid using Unsafe Attachment File Types.
