Human Development Forms and Documents
Getting close to being able to graduate? Congratulations!! There are two different deadlines for applying for graduation: the priority deadline (beginning of the semester BEFORE you plan to graduate) and the final deadline (beginning of THE semester you plan to graduate). Meeting the priority deadline allows A&R to double-check your application and confirm that you are on track. If you miss the final deadline to apply for graduation, you will not be able to graduate at the end of that semester. View the priority and final deadlines HERE.
Graduation Application (Fill out and bring a paper copy with you to your meeting with your advisor and the Program Coordinator)
Students must complete this form before meeting with the Coordinator. The application must include all courses for which the student does not yet have a grade (i.e., course in progress, courses with an incomplete, and courses planned for the next semester (if applicable)). Check your ARR to view courses in progress (yellow diamond) and unmet requirements (red squares)
Courses being taken or planned at another institution must be listed with the information of the actual course, not the equivalent SSU course.
Interested in engaging in an internship with a community partner or research with a faculty member? Great! The first step is to obtain a verbal agreement with the person or organization. Once you've done this, you must fill out the appropriate form, get the appropriate signatures, and submit the form by the end of Add/Drop. For more information on contract courses please see the General Contract Course Information webpage.
