Fall 2009 Disbursement Calendar
Financial aid will begin to disburse the first week of the semester.
Due to the severe state budget cuts to the California State University system, requiring most SSU employees to take 24 unpaid furlough days this year, disbursement of funds for 2009-10 will occur once a week on Wednesdays. However there are exceptions. Please refer to the table below. Your patience and understanding of this inconvenience is very much appreciated.
Funds will be posted to your Customer Account, and will first pay any outstanding fees or institutional charges on your account at the time of disbursement. Any remaining funds will be mailed to you in a refund check. Please access the Account Activity link in the Finances section of your Student Center to see if funds have disbursed. You can access your Student Center via SSU Online Services.
Refund checks of excess financial aid are typically mailed within 3 business days of the "Date Posted."
Please Note: The University cannot hold refund checks for pick-up.
It is very important that you use Self Service to keep your mailing address and permanent home address current. Complete instructions are found at the Office of Records and Registration.
