Student Assistants
Every year Sonoma State University hires students to work in a variety of positions throughout the campus. Student Assistant positions offer valuable work experience with opportunities for increased responsibility, leadership and to assist the campus in its mission to provide a high quality educational environment. With academics as a priority, flexible schedules and a variety of work hours are available.
Important Reminders
Graduating Students
Student Assistants graduating in December may not work past December 24, 2009. Remember to mark "final" on payroll vouchers.
December Payroll Vouchers
Student Assistants must attach a self-addressed stamped envelope to their voucher if they would like their pay check mailed.
January Intersession and Spring Semester
- To be eligible to work during Intersession, the student must have completed the prior Fall Semester and must be enrolled in classes for the upcoming Spring Semester.
- A new SEF does not need to be submitted for continuing Student Assistants that will work during Intersession and/or the Spring Semester.
- Student Assistants may work up to 40 hours per week during Intersession (1/4/10 – 1/23/10).
- We are a non-telecommute campus and Student Assistants must be have appropriate supervision.
