Dr. Tiffany O'Shaughnessy

Dr. Tiffany O’Shaughnessy joined the faculty in 2014 with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University, where she specialized in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) affirmative therapy and college counseling. She is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Berkeley, CA. Dr. O’Shaughnessy has experience teaching in social justice focused Clinical Counseling programs, and her teaching interests include counseling skills and theories, ethics, multicultural counseling, and practicum and internship supervision. Dr. O’Shaughnessy’s scholarship focuses on LGBTQ affirmative therapy and multicultural issues in supervision, training, and career development. She uses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in her research. Her office hours will change each semester; please check Nichols Hall 220 for updated office hours.
