Nate Campbell

Communication Studies Department
Nate is a graduate of Sonoma state and a product of radio in the Communications Department, receiving his B.A. in 1999, and then completing his M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2002, also at SSU. He was a student leader at KSUN back in the 1990’s.
Campbell currently works full-time in Sonoma County Radio, an Operations Manager for Wine Country Radio which owns four radio stations, and currently serves as Program Director for two of them, the roots heritage station KRSH 95.9 “The Krush” and KNOB 96.7 “BOB FM”. He is also a disc jockey for both stations.
Currently Campbell heads up the radio aspect of the department, teaching Intro to Radio Broadcasting, Advanced Radio, and is the academic advisor for KSUN online. He has also offered various other classes at Sonoma State including Music, MTV, and the Media, History of Rock and Roll, and The Music of Bob Dylan.
A Bay Area boy born and bred, he now resides in Sonoma County with his wife and dog. He enjoys politics, bay area sports, wine tasting, and is an avid fan of HBO’s “The Wire”
