Dr. Timothy Wandling is an English professor at SSU. Tim has a long history of involvement with service-learning and the CCE. He is dedicated to social justice and has taught many service-learning courses. He currently serves as the SAGA Faculty Fellow, developing and implementing SSU’s Sustainable Cities program, collaborating with governments to address issues of environmental justice.

Hi, my name is Claudia Sisomphou and I am a senior this year at SSU. I am an Environmental Studies and Planning major with a focus in Planning, and I'm also minoring in Computer Science. I hope to one day combine my passion for the environment with my interest in politics to improve the way we as a country view and treat each other and the earth. I am the Activist in Residence for the CCE and my job is to create and implement projects that will engage students in the topics of sustainability and diversity.
Hi! My name is Ashley Simon and I am currently a senior here at Sonoma State University. I major in Women's and Gender Studies with a Minor in American Multicultural Studies. I wish to someday work in education with underserved and underrepresented high school students and push for service-learning in their schools. My job at the CCE is to help maintain our blog, the Social Media @ SSU page, and the CCE's Prezi's channel.
My name is Colin Franceschini and I am the office computer nerd. I am currently a senior and I'm majoring in Computer Science. My specific duties for the CCE include website development and updates, website reporting and analytics, graphic design, video editing, and pretty much anything else tech-related.

Hi, my name is Baylee Pearce and I'm a sophomore at Sonoma State. I am majoring in Business Administration and I hope one day I can help aspiring musicians live out their dreams. Meanwhile, I provide general support throughout the CCE office.
My name is Amanda DeFoe and I will be the AmeriCorps VISTA working with Sonoma State University and Social Advocates for Youth in Santa Rosa, CA. Within my year of service I hope to strengthen the relationship between SSU students and the local community. My goal for my year of service would is to create an effective volunteer network between SSU and SAY that will last for years to come. Being a VISTA member will allow me to create and foster student relations with SAY.
Hi, my name is Gustavo Vasquez and I am the 2016-2017 AmeriCorps VISTA member with the Center for Community Engagement at Sonoma State and with Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County. My specific goal of my year-long capacity building project will be to strengthen CAP’s health and wellness, education and stability programs by coordinating with CCE staff and Sonoma State faculty and bringing student volunteers to support CAP’s mission and vision.
