Low Ropes FAQs
To sign up for a Low Ropes Program, simply e-mail email@example.com and provide your contact information, two or three potential dates, two or three potential time slots that work for you (please note that our course can be as short as 2.5 hours or as long as 8 hours to fit the needs of your group) and finally the number of participants we should expect on the day of the program. Groups range in size from a min. of 6 to a max. of 25 or more! We will get in touch with you to finalize the booking. Once you book a date a “lead” facilitator will contact you closer to the program date to discuss details with you.
A great attitude! Also, closed toe shoes, plenty of water, liability waivers for every member participating, and appropriate dress for the weather; we will be outside! It may also help to eat before you come or bring a snack, ropes course activities are energy intensive and it helps to have a full tank!
We conduct our programs rain or shine! Don’t be scared…if you are dressed for it, playing in the rain is great fun. If you suspect it will rain on the day of your program, please wear a waterproof jacket (with the appropriate layers underneath if its cold), waterproof pants if you have them, and those sturdy closed toed shoes you were already planning on wearing! In the event that it is too rainy even for us, we can promptly reschedule your group.
If you are an off campus group, please visit our rates page. There you will find our rates subject to duration and participant number.
If you are an on campus student group, thanks to a grant graciously given from Instructionally Related Activity Fees, the first 30 Fall and 20 Spring SSU affiliated groups can experience the course at no cost each semester. Once these slots are used up, on campus rates apply.
Any SSU class, club, greek organization, or the like! Technically, if you’re an SSU student you could get 6 of your pals together (whom also must be SSU students) and sign up for the course that way. All you need is six to come see our tricks!
