50th Anniversary logos

Happy 50th Birthday Sonoma State University!

Below is the 50th anniversary logo which the campus is invited to use in either full color or in the black version. We ask that you use the anniversary logo on as many items as possible this year (from now through Commencement 2012), including, for example, posters, fliers, syllabi, handouts, etc. The main university logo should be used as well.

Use it liberally please—but don't try to change it.

An anniversary factoid: The green swash at the bottom of the logo represents the hills of Sonoma County, and specifically those just to the west of the campus. AND…the green color of that swash is a similar green that was once Sonoma State University's official color in the 1960s (represented in a then-logo referred to as the "turkey track" logo for its resemblance to the track mark of a turkey)
